Experienced Bartender – Ashbrook Hotel
The Ashbrook Hotel is seeking a skilled and personable Experienced Bartender to join our hospitality team. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in craft, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and understands that exceptional service is just as important as a perfectly balanced cocktail.
About the Role
As a bartender at Ashbrook Hotel, you will be responsible for delivering a high-quality beverage experience that reflects the sophistication and warmth of our property. You’ll engage with guests, execute classic and contemporary cocktails with precision, and contribute to an inviting, memorable bar atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to standard recipes and guest preferences
- Provide attentive, knowledgeable service while building rapport with guests
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar at all times
- Manage bar inventory, including restocking and monitoring product levels
- Handle cash and POS transactions accurately
- Ensure compliance with all local alcohol laws and hotel policies
- Collaborate with the broader food & beverage team to ensure seamless service
Qualifications
- 2+ years of bartending experience in a high-volume or upscale setting
- Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer
- Ability to multitask and stay composed under pressure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- TIPS or equivalent certification preferred
